Miller Family Update
Some of you may be wondering what came from our fundraiser on July 10th. We were overwhelmed with blessings. So many people came to support us. We sold several t-shirts and bracelets, and lots of food! We also auctioned of a lot off great stuff. We had a 50/50 raffle and trivia event with the winners of the prizes generously donating the funds they won back to our mission work. When we held the fundraiser we had a lofty goal of raising $12K to ship our container a crossed the Atlantic to our home in Sierra Leone. The fundraiser brought in a grand total of $7,150. We are simply blown away! God moved mountains. We want to extend a thank you to everyone who came out, or sent in money to help us. The love you all showed us is something we can’t grasp, much less find the words for. We are confident we will come up with the rest of the finances needed in Gods perfect timing.

Some of you may also be wondering where we are with the move now that Ebola has come to Sierra Leone. First, we ask that you please be in prayer for our wonderful friends a crossed Sierra Leone and Liberia as well as for those in Guinea. We are praying for this horrible disease to be eradicated as soon as possible. With that being said, we know how blessed we are to still be here fundraising. We serve a big God who can do anything. He could have raised the money needed already if it were in His will. We feel as though God is keeping us here now for our safety and health. When we come up with the funds needed to move we will go in faith. We are trusting His plans and timing. He has not led us wrong yet, and we serve a Big God who reminds us to fear not. It is human to fear sickness and death, war, and tragedy. They are scary things to be faced with. However, we know that fear is not something that comes from God. Isaiah 41:10 says “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous hand”. We do not want to value anything in this world, including the gift of life, more than we value God and His plans for our life. He called us to Sierra Leone and He knows the plans He has for us more than we ever could. We will continue to pray for safety and protection of those we love, and for Gods perfect timing in sending our family.
We thank you all for pouring into our family through prayers, love, financial gifts, and friendships. We are so blessed by you. We thank God when we think of you. We ask the you will continue to pray for God timing over our family and that you will pray for the people in West Africa suffering from this horrible disease. Thank you all for sticking with our family and being part of this awesome journey we are on. God is so awesome. May He bless you immensely!
